Currently using an ferrous (iron) reducing agent. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIndigo is the most lightfast of all natural dyes. However without proper care the items can fade. Direct UV light (like outside line drying) and harsh washing will fade the piece quicker. Though your item will always be blue, it will be a lighter shade with time.
